An independant consultant, Morry Vickers has an extensive horticultural background with a focus on the growth of olive trees and production of top quality olive oil.

Beginning his involvement in the olive industry in Australia in the 1990's, Morry returned to New Zealand late 1998 when the industry was still "quite fragmented".

Forming an olive oil co-operative in 1990 Morry continued to work closely with growers until 2009 when he resigned to focus more on his growing business.

Olive Oil NZ Ltd works for the grower and and has no affiliation with any fertilizer or chemical company, so you know that the advice you recieve is impartial and based solely on your specific needs and requirements.

As consultants Olive Oil NZ Ltd are involved in the planning of the groves, marking out planting patterns, sourcing materials and olive trees, and assisting with planting the trees. They oversee the grove management for the next 5 complete years to ensure the grove owner gets the maximum return from their investment. Items like weed control, pest control, disease control, pruning and harvesting etc.

They assist with quality control during harvesting, processing and preparing the product for sale with the emphasis always being on excellence.
